Since time immemorial people around the globe have used horoscope to learn what is in store for them in the future. Indians too love knowing about there future. In the past a road side predictor with a parrot or a religious saint for predicting future was a common sight in every town and village. While many prediction in the past too had fundamentals behind it, was logical and proved true. But a large number of predictions were fraud and used just for monetary gain.

However, in the more recent modern times advanced prediction is done based on the relative position of sun, moon and the other planets. While the authenticity of Indian horoscope is difficult to determine the faith flourishes the predictor.India Astro has also been largely used by the middle as well as the upper class people in the recent times. Horoscope is a common article in most of the Indian magazines. Even in newspaper supplements and Saturday / Sunday reviews horoscope is one of the most sought after article amongst women and the younger generation.

The numbers of horoscope articles have increased over the years. This has commercialized perhaps horoscope prediction far too much say compared to the passed decade. Reading what is ahead in the day or the coming week brings about some optimism in an individual. Though at times a bad prediction can also give one a bad hair day.
