The problem faced here is that of Realtek drivers. I think one of you should consider installing an old version of Yahoo Messenger with voice.

You can get it from Y! FC Download

I have read over 50 posts online regarding that ... most of all the latest Intel MainBoards (82865, 915, 945) support only Realtek drivers. ( Though I installed CMedia driver for my board accidently and it worked ok for my sound.. I didnt checked the Yahoo Messenger voice with them. Still you can take chances by installing Cmedia drivers... but I dont gurantee about it working. And it might give problem with your Windows.)

I am looking into this matter. so, I am going to mail Realtek about it. And ask if they are going to do something about it. Alternatively you should try updating your drivers maybe they have release some patch for it.

Hello mike and csukumar_ece,
I dont think there is solution other than changing the hardware to one which support drivers other than Realtek. Mike are you going to mail Realtek about it. ??

Hi csukumar_ece, naveen, mikebaton,
I am aware of your problems. I had a discuss with Mike about it. He showed me a couple of more thread like this one. I am going to mail Realtek International Team for it. I hope they'll co-operate with us and provide a reliable patch or solution for it. So, I would have we should have for atleast a week for Realtek support team's answer. ALternatively, I'll be search around to get more information if anyone is able to solve out the problem.

Yes, I have also sent a mail to them. But in the meantime my friend can you please tell me the configuration of your computer.

1. MainBoard:
2. Sound Card (if any)
